Our Team

lonnieLonnie Smith, Pharm.D.- Director of Clinical Research and Manager for the Department of Solid Organ Transplant. Lonnie started his career by getting a Bachelor’s degree in biology at Tennessee Technological University. He then went on to complete his Doctor of Pharmacy Degree at the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy, and  moved to Salt Lake City for his Pharmacy Practice Residency at University of Utah Hospitals & Clinics. Following his residency, Lonnie stayed on at the U as a clinical pharmacy specialist in solid organ transplant. His interests include snowboarding, biking (mountain & road), hiking, camping, scuba diving, traveling and working to better understand the science and business of transplant.



sabrinaSabrina Lee, Pharm.D., BCPS - Clinical Pharmacist in Solid Organ Transplant. Sabrina completed her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree at Rutgers University in New Jersey. Following graduation she moved to Philadelphia for both her pharmacy practice residency and her solid organ transplant residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She moved out to Salt Lake City to become a clinical pharmacist in solid organ transplant at the University of Utah Hospitals & Clinics. Her interests include swimming, traveling, reading and eating.

crystalCrystal Truax, Pharm.D., BCPS- Clinical Pharmacist in Solid Organ Transplant. Crystal completed her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. Following graduation she moved to Salt Lake City for both a pharmacy practice residency at the University of Utah Hospitals & Clinics, as well as a specialty residency in solid organ transplant. After completing her residencies, Crystal has stayed on at the U as a clinical pharmacist for transplant. Her interests include traveling, trying new restaurants, shopping and anything outdoors.

nicoleNicole Kenyon, Pharm.D.- Clinical Pharmacist in Solid Organ Transplant. Nicole completed her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree at Midwestern University, Chicago College of Pharmacy in 2007. She also has a B.S. degree in chemistry and biology from Valparaiso University. Following graduation, she completed her pharmacy practice residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. She then moved to Salt Lake City to do her specialty residency in solid organ transplant. In her spare time, Nicole enjoys traveling, cooking, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.

vananhVan-Anh Le, Pharm.D.- PGY2 Specialty Resident in Solid Organ Transplant. Van-Anh completed her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree at the University of Houston College of Pharmacy in Texas. Following graduation she moved to Pittsburgh for a pharmacy practice residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. She moved out to Salt Lake City for a second year residency in Solid Organ Transplant at the U. Her interests include traveling, baking and going to symphonies and plays.
