Pediatric Urology
University of Utah Health Care Pediatric urologists provide comprehensive diagnose, treatment, and management of all children’s urinary and genital problems. Urology services are provided at Primary Children's Medical Center and include both inpatient and outpatient diagnosis and management of children with acquired and congenital urogenital disorders.
Services Include:
- Evaluation and management of voiding disorders, vesicoureteral reflux, and urinary tract infections that require surgery.
- Surgical reconstruction of the urinary tract (kidneys, ureters, and bladder) including genital abnormalities, hypospadias, and disorders of sexual development.
- Surgery for groin conditions in childhood and adolescence(undescended testes, hydrocele/hernia, varicocele)
