Treatment options for Neuropathy are based on the type of Neuropathy that the patient has. The treatment is a phased approach. For example if a patient suffers from Diabetic Neuropathy, they advise them to keep their weight down, watch their glucose and cholesterol levels in order to help treat the neuropathy they suffer from as a result of the disease as the first phase of the approach. A second approach is to treat the symptoms such as treating pain with medication.
