TRAILS Research
Purpose
To assist with the research component of TRAILS.
Reports To
TRAILS Executive Committee, Manager of Staff Development and Research, and program Medical Director.
Days/Hours
- Varying shifts,
- Monday - Friday (Will need to commit to a minimum of five (5) hours per week.
Volunteer Duties/Responsibilities
- Assist in designing research studies.
- Assist in developing research protocol.
- Assist in recruiting research participants.
- Assist in data collection and input.
- Assist in research intervention(s).
- Assist in distribution of survey or questionnaires.
- Assist in set-up, clean-up and signing participants up for different treatment groups or interventions.
- Provide administrative support (i.e., update databases, coordinate with local agencies, confirm participants and volunteers).
- Complete the TRAILS volunteer training program.
- Adhere to hospital policy and procedures.
