Purpose
To provide support for the Customer Service Department.

Customer Service Supervisor
Days/Hours
- 9:00-1:00PM; 1:00-5:00PM; 5:00-8:00PM
- Monday - Friday
Qualifications
- Must be 18 or older.
Volunteer Duties/Responsibilities
- Greets and assists visitors to the hospital in an efficient, friendly, and courteous manner.
- Must be competent in using the computer and telephone systems.
- Use Allegra and AMCOM programs to locate patients and employees.
- Using paper script, answers telephone calls in a courteous manner and gives patient information only as instructed.
- Route phone calls to appropriate departments.
- Direct patients to clinics and other hospital areas.
- Check lobby for neatness, maintain magazine racks as necessary.
- Notify Service Officer by two-way radio when assistance is needed for patient transport or when wheelchair supply is low.
- Notify clergy who requested visits.
- Sign in visitors after 10:00pm, issue visitor stickers.
- Have good knowledge of hospital layout, lower campus, and Research Park areas.
- Keep all personal phone calls and conversations with co-workers to a minimum.
