Purpose
To facilitate communication between medical staff, patients, and family members

Days/Hours
- Varying shifts as assigned
- Monday - Friday
Training
Interpreters are required to take a basic forty hour interpreter course in medical terminology.
Volunteer Duties/Responsibilities
- Take accurate notes when doing a phone or a clinical interpretation
- Interpret colloquial phrases and technical medical terminology
- Understand and follow interpreter code of ethics
