Fitness Classes for University of Utah Employees

PEAK fitness classes are available to all full and part-time employees of the University of Utah, including:

  • University of Utah Health Employees
  • Employees at Primary Children's Hospital & Clinics
  • University affiliates in Research Park
  • Members of the University of Utah Alumni Association
  • Family members and partners of employees
  • Alumni association members

PEAK Health and Fitness offers a wide variety of classes including: aquatone, circuit training, core training, indoor cycling, mat Pilates, stretch and strengthen, total body fitness, weight training, and yoga.

Need help maintaining motivation to train? Want to train for your first 5K? Trying to run a sub four-hour marathon?

Whatever your goals, PEAK can help you reach them. Let a trained exercise physiologist develop an individualized four-week program to fit your training needs. You will have a 60-minute meeting with an exercise physiologist who will develop your personal training program. The program can either focus on strength/endurance building or aerobic fitness development.

Health & Fitness Testing

Do you feel you've made a lot of progress towards your fitness goals but would like to make sure you're on the right track? Or are you already in shape but would like to dial in your training? We offer a variety of health and fitness tests, available for anyone. We can test:

  • Body composition (%fat),
  • Resting metabolic rate (RMR),
  • Aerobic fitness (VO2max, submaximal, or lactate threshold tests),
  • Strength,
  • Flexibility,
  • Blood pressure and blood lipid (cholesterol), and
  • Glucose.

We also offer personal training and fitness program development.
