Mary Shapiro, M.D.
Mary Shapiro is a board-certified Pediatrician. She received her Bachelors degree in Molecular Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley in 1993 and obtained her medical degree at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 1998. Dr. Shapiro completed her residency in Pediatrics in 2001 at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville, North Carolina. Dr. Shapiro worked with Kaiser Permanente in San Jose, California in both the Pediatrics and Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinics from 2001 to 2006. Dr. Shapiro is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Her professional interests include sports medicine, infant development, nutrition and newborn care. Dr. Shapiro speaks medical Spanish. Her outside hobbies include hiking, biking, travel, and spending time with her husband and son. Dr. Shapiros Patient Health Tip: Good health habits are a family affair.
