Connecting Women to Wellness in Midlife and Beyond
As women pass through midlife, they want to know what to expect, what is normal (or not), and how they can have their best health.
The Women’s Midlife Assessment Clinic (MLAC) is a half-day comprehensive, head-to-toe assessment for women who are approximately 40 to 65 years of age. It includes interactive learning about common midlife health concerns presented by experts. Each participant receives a summary as a snapshot of her health with tools to lower her risk for disease and cancer.
The focus is on wellness and prevention, early detection and intervention in disease to improve outcomes, and reducing health risks. Specifically, our job is to help women know what they can do to age in a healthy way, and empower them to do so.
Empowering women who want to know how to:
- Maximize and maintain health through menopause
- Improve menopause symptoms
- Be your healthy weight
- Keep your heart, bones and memory healthy
