Wellness: Maintaining a Healthy Mind, Body, and Spirit

August 20–25, 2018

What does it mean to “be well?” Wellness doesn’t come in a pill prescribed by a doctor for temporary relief of a condition because of the unhealthy way we treat our bodies. Wellness comes from healing and maintaining a healthy mind, body, and spirit through nourishing food, proper exercise, and coping with stress resulting in an overall feeling of well being.

At University of Utah Health, we understand that achieving and maintaining wellness is an ongoing process. We are committed to helping Utah families adopt ways they can enjoy a healthy lifestyle.

Celebration of Wellness – Proudly Celebrating 10 Years of Be Well Utah

As part of this commitment, we have once again partnered with Regence BlueCross BlueShield to bring you Be Well Utah—a week-long celebration to wellness! You are invited to participate in our many wellness activities for all ages from August 20–25, 2018.

Then, join us at our Family Health Fair—our culminating event on Saturday, August 25, at Rice Eccles Stadium, where you can expect free health screenings, interactive wellness displays, on-field activities, and healthy snacks.

Save the date! And check back often for the latest details.
