Neuroscience | University of Utah Health

This new, 13-bed unit, opened in the fall of 2007 in the beautiful new Eccles Critical Care Pavilion, is the place to work! Our nurses provide a range of services for acute-care and neuroscience patients in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting. From the unit layout to the paint on the walls, 5 Eccles was designed with nursing input and supports workflow by allowing nurses to walk shorter distances to gather equipment, medications, and other supplies. Each of the unit's spacious private room has wireless telemetry and allows caregivers to provide care with a family centered approach. Whether you just received your nursing degree or are an experienced R.N., 5 Eccles is a great place to develop and practice your nursing skills.

You will gain experience caring for patients with a variety of needs, including:

  • Epilepsy monitoring
  • Telemetry monitoring

You will be an integral part of the team caring for the following types of patients:

  • Neurology
