Jessica Ann Ellis, PhD, CNM

  • Jessica Ellis is a Certified Nurse-Midwife with the BirthCare HealthCare clinical practice, where she provides full-scope midwifery care including pregnancy, postpartum, labor and delivery, contraceptive and routine gynecologic care. Jessica is a graduate of the University of Utah, where she received her MSN in Nursing and Midwifery and is currently enrolled in a Ph.D. program at Georgia State University.

    Other work experiences: Jessica has had the opportunity to live and work in both Helena Montana and Atlanta Georgia. While working with specialty populations in different geographic locations Jessica learned to individualize care for each woman. Jessica is happy to be in Utah again and appreciates the excellent care within the U Health System.

    Philosophy:
    I support and care for the normal physiological processes women experience during their lifetimes including puberty, childbearing, and menopause. I believe in the process of shared decision-making, where we discuss different clinical options then decide on the plan of care together.

    She is currently accepting new patients.

    Jessica’s time away from work is usually spent gardening, hiking, and skiing.
