Dr. Niki Barwick is a trained Audiologist, and provides services diagnosing, managing, and treating hearing and inner ear balance disorders. She specializes in: Adult and pediatric hearing diagnostic testing, newborn hearing screenings, ototoxicity monitoring, adult and child hearing aid evaluations and counseling, programming and fitting hearing aids to target real-ear measures, diagnosis and management of tinnitus, cerumen removal, custom fit hearing protection, and diagnosis and treatment of BPPV (benign paroxysmal positional vertigo).

She enjoys helping people live the best version of themselves by addressing their ear issues and providing lifelong follow-up care. She loves working with children and adults and always goes the extra mile for her patients. She especially loves hearing about her patient's lives. Her research interests include: Patient quality of life, tinnitus, vertigo, and training Audiology students.

Dr. Barwick graduated with honors from the University of Utah with her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences in 2002 and with her Master in Science in Audiology in 2004. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Doctor of Audiology degree from Salus University in 2010. She joined the University of Utah Farmington Audiology Clinic in 2016. Before that, she completed her clinical fellowship year at the VAMC in Portland, OR and had the honor of treating Veterans and worked with the NCRAR (National Center for Rehabilitative Audiology Research) helping with a tinnitus treatment protocol now used at all VA centers nationwide. She also implemented a pocket talker program at the VA for inpatient and outpatient use so all the patients could communicate effectively with their physicians, nurses, and family. She spent clinical rotations at Primary Children's Medical Center, Utah School for the Deaf and Blind, and the Salt Lake VAMC. Previously, she was the Director of Audiology for a busy multi location ENT office and was the co-owner of three Audiology hearing and balance clinics.

In her free time she enjoys making homemade Italian pasta and bread with her 98 year-old Italian grandmother. She also loves spending time with her 2 young boys, family and friends. She enjoys hiking, swimming, reading, and organizing and volunteering for charity events in the community.
