Dr. Blaty, Dr. Farney and the medical assistance were all very helpful and they followed through with their suggestions of linking me to a staff member to assist with obtaining updated CPAP supplies.

Dr. Farney spent a great deal of time very patiently explaining central and obstructive sleep apnea, and explaining to me, how exactly the asv res med servo worked for my apnea

It's hard to say exactly why the interview went so badly. Maybe because we had spent so much time on tech or with the other doctor, but there was hardly any time to collaborate about my restless leg issues and the efforts to control them with medications. I'm sure Dr Farney had good intentions, but the meeting was very short and unproductive. And we did not come to an understanding about a plan for the next 6 months. I ended up calling for a prescription and then finding another doctor to prescribe it. I've concluded that a meeting every six months is just inadequate when someone is trying to regulate medication. I think at least interim phone calls would be appropriate. Possibly, this is possible and just should be explained clearly at the first and/or later appointments.

I asked a question about the tightness of my CPAP mask, and if it could make an indention on the top of my head from the strap. I felt that it was! But, I explained that it needed to be tight in order for the mask not to make a flapping noise! He didn't offer a solution, and maybe there isn't one!

I did not like the virtual visit. Hope I don't have to do it every time. I don't feel it's very authentic when I can't visit in person.
