Ronald Day, MD graduated from the University of Utah with degrees in Chemistry and Medicine. He received his training in Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiology at the University of California, Los Angeles. He is board certified in Pediatric Cardiology. He is an Professor of Pediatrics and has been a member of the faculty of the University of Utah since July 1991. Dr. Day´s clinical interests include Pediatric Cardiology and Pulmonary Hypertension. He is the director of the Pulmonary Vascular Disease Program at Primary Children’s Medical Center. Dr. Day’s research interests include (1) the development of methods to improve the diagnostic evaluation and treatment of patients with pulmonary hypertension, and (2) the outcome of patients with congenital heart disease. Dr. Day sees patients with congenital heart disease and pulmonary vascular disease in outpatient clinics affiliated with Primary Children’s Medical Center. He performs heart catheterization approximately 1-2 days each week. He has developed a Program for Pulmonary Vascular Disease that provides comprehensive care for children with pulmonary hypertension.
