Christina Thuet, MD, FAAP

  • Christina Thuet, MD, IBCLC, FAAP, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of General Pediatrics at the University of Utah School of Medicine.

    Dr. Thuet sees infants, children, and adolescents at Sugar House Health Center and at University Pediatric Clinic at University Hospital. She also sees newborns in the University Hospital Well Baby and Intermediate Care Nurseries.

    Dr. Thuet enjoys equipping first-time parents with evidence-based, practical knowledge as they navigate through parenthood. Her clinical interests include helping families address adolescent mental health and ADHD/ADD concerns. She is a board-certified lactation consultant and enjoys empowering first-time or experienced breastfeeding caregivers to meet their breastfeeding goals.

    Dr. Thuet is passionate about advocacy for underserved populations. She is the Founder and Executive Director of With Love, From Strangers, a Utah non-profit organization inspiring strangers to share resources with underserved communities. Dr. Thuet received her medical degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City, UT. She completed her Pediatric residency at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC.
