Shane Beeton, APRN, is a board certified family nurse practitioner in the department of Cardiology practicing in the Interventional Cardiology Clinic and the Syncope Clinic. Shane received his undergraduate degree from the University of Utah in the Science of Nursing. He then worked for six years as a nurse in oncology, neuro critical care and interventional cardiology at the Huntsman Cancer Hospital and University of Utah Hospital. During this time he received his Masters of Science in Nursing degree with an emphasis in family medicine from Westminster College.
He grew up in Utah and currently resides in Salt Lake City with his family. He has a wife and three children, two boys and a girl. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, the outdoors, eating good food and riding his motorcycle.

The after visit report was very informative. It not only included the current visit notes and Doctor's prognosis but included past medical history to the current date. The report was all inclusive for a complete history.

Under this system, it is still hard to determine who is in charge. Visit was good but I should have had a doctor. Next visit, if I do not see a doctor with good answers as to medications etc., I will leave the system.

Hard to rate this provider when this was my first and probably last experience with him. He didn't understand my history and he said he didn't know what was going on. But I felt like he didn't really try to understand what was going on. He didn't ask many questions and just relied on results from my emergency room visit.
