  • Danica Loveridge is a Certified Nurse-Midwife and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner with the BirthCare HealthCare clinical practice. Part of her time is spent as an assistant professor at the College of Nursing, where she provides education to nurse-midwifery and women’s health students. She provides full-scope midwifery care, which includes: routine gynecological care, contraceptive counseling and family planning, prenatal care, labor management and deliveries, and postpartum care. She also offers prenatal care through the University of Utah Health Virtual Prenatal Care Program, which provides convenient and personalized prenatal care to low-risk pregnancies.     Danica was so welcoming. It was an appt to establish care with her and my old provider was amazing so I was nervous about having to get a new one after she left. Danica was fabulous and the entire appt was so thorough and made me feel like I was cared about as a whole person, not just a patient and not just for OBGYN. She also gave me good information on when Id be due for other procedures down the road and helped me feel informed about my care.

    Danica is an incredible practitioner. She really takes her time to make sure all of your questions are answered and does not make the appointment to feel rushed. I have gone through two pregnancies with Danica and I am so incredibly thankful for all that she has done for me. Danica is so supportive, kind and respectful. She makes me feel so comfortable and safe. I highly recommend Danica as a midwife.
