This was my first Mohs surgery so I was very nervous. I appreciated that the doctor asked if I wanted anything to calm my nerves. Everyone was very kind and gave excellent descriptions of the procedures and what they found. They also were able to do both surgeries on one day to accommodate my schedule which was very helpful.

Dr. Duffy provides the Mohls procedure with precision, steady hands and calm approach. He explained his procedure process well. He cared that I had no pain and when I felt a little something, he stopped to administer more numbing med. He Is very personable which really helped with my nervousness. He's a great artist too - my incision line is hardly noticeable. I thank him for all he did for me and I highly recommend him and will ask for him should I ever need a Mohls procedure again.

I am in a very small group of patients that have repeating squamous cell carcinomas from a life time of exposure. So the damage is cumulative and I feel like I get special treatment to ensure these surface and pesky skin cancers that show up frequently are dealt with before they turn into something else worse.
