Kiki Kilbourne PT,DPT, NCS is a Doctor of Physical Therapy focusing on treatment of both progressive and non-progressive neurologic diagnoses. Kiki is a 2012 graduate of the University of Utah Physical Therapy School and a 2013 graduate of the Utah Neurologic Physical Therapy Residency Program. In 2014 she earned her board certification as a Neurologic Clinical Specialist (NCS.) Kiki works primarily as a member of the spinal cord injury team. Kiki is trained in various neurological equipment including Restorative Therapies Functional Electrical Stimulation cycle and stepper, the Re-Walk exoskeleton, Bioness, Alter G and Biodex treadmill systems. Kiki also helps to coordinate the University of Utah Sugahouse wellness program.
Kiki works as a volunteer with the University of Utah TRAILs program (Therapeutic Recreation and Independent Lifestyles Program) assisting people living with spinal cord injury to perform various outdoor recreation activities including swimming, skiing, and hand cycling. Kiki is a PSIA certified ski instructor and spent eight years teaching skiing in Colorado and Utah prior to pursuing physcial therapy. Additionally, Kiki is a certified Pilates instructor with a specialization in Pilates for rehabilitation professionals.
Kiki is originally from Maine and moved to Utah to enjoy the fabulous outdoor activities. She is an avid mountain biker, skier, and runner and on the weekends can be found enjoying the outdoors with her family.
