  • Dr. Claudia Delgado-Corcoran received her medical degree from Escuela Colombiana de Medicina in Bogota, Colombia. She completed her Pediatric residency and Pediatric Critical Care Medicine fellowship at Wolfson Children’s Hospital / Shands Medical Center at the University of Florida in Jacksonville. After completing her fellowship, Dr. Delgado-Corcoran worked for seven years as a Pediatric Intensivist at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She then received additional training in Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care at Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock through the University of Arkansas. Dr. Delgado-Corcoran is double board-certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Critical Care Medicine.

    Dr. Delgado-Corcoran is currently an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Utah in the Division of Pediatric Critical Care. She is the Associate Medical Director of the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) at Primary Children’s Medical Center. Dr. Delgado-Corcoran provides care to children admitted to the CICU with newly diagnosed congenital heart disease or non-surgical heart disease that requires critical care, and children who have undergone palliative or corrective heart surgery.

    Her specific clinical interests include management of congenital heart diseases, pulmonary hypertension, and non-invasive monitoring in the CICU. Dr. Delgado-Corcoran is actively involved in quality Improvement processes in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit.
