Heather Fellows, SCMT, MT-BC

  • Heather Fellows, MHA, SCMT, MT-BC graduated from Utah State University in 2000 after completing a 6-month clinical internship at Twin Valley Psychiatric System in Columbus Ohio. She has spent the last 20 years working in hospital systems in California and Utah including Sequoia Hospital in Redwood City, CA and Langley Porter Psychiatric Institute at the University of California at San Francisco. After relocating to Utah, Heather worked for 10 years on the psychiatric unit at University Hospital. In October of 2019 she moved into a full-time position at the Huntsman Cancer Institute. Heather is certified in Hospice and Palliative Care Music Therapy (HPMT) and has worked with various populations including geriatric, mental health and oncology. She is the owner of A Tempo Music Therapy, LLC in Salt Lake City. Heather is invested in providing quality, evidence-based music therapy treatment for her patients and in advocating for education and growth of music therapy.
