  • Dr. Dana Johns is a Board certified Plastic Surgeon at the University of Utah and specializes in all areas of craniofacial surgery including cleft lip,nose and palate deformities, craniosynostosis, ear reconstruction and post-traumatic reconstruction, facial feminization, as well as general pediatric plastic surgery. Dr. Johns is a native of Pennsylvania and earned her undergraduate degree from Franklin & Marshall College and her medical degree from Thomas Jefferson Medical College. She completed a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Residency at the University of Utah and a Cleft and Craniofacial Fellowship at Stanford University.

    Dr. Johns is an Assistant Professor. She sees patients at Primary Children's Hospital South Jordan Medical Center and Utah Valley Hospital, in addition to holding operating privileges at the University of Utah Hospital. Dr. Johns enjoys spending her free time with her family and is an avid rock climber, snowboarder and oil painter.

    Had a great experience with Dr Johns regarding the removal of an osteoma. She was clear about what the procedure entailed. She let me know what she was doing as she was doing it during the procedure. She was clear about the follow up. Very good communicator.
