Bio

Amy Williams, M.D., is a board-certified pediatrician. She obtained her medical degree from the University of New Mexico. Prior to becoming a physician, Dr. Williams worked as a registered dietitian and a massage therapist focusing on sports medicine and chronic pain. In addition, she has worked in Newborn Intensive Care Units (NICU) in both New Mexico and Utah, and continues to work closely with post-NICU graduates faced with chronic medical conditions and behavioral concerns. She has also worked in Latin America and Africa helping to reduce malnutrition and caring for patients with HIV.

In her free time, Dr. Williams enjoys cycling, backpacking, skiing and hiking with her two dogs. She is fluent in Spanish and is currently welcoming new patients. Most insurance plans accepted.

“My motivation for working in health care is to serve as an advocate for each of my patients and their health. I believe in integrative and preventive care, as well as education, in order to reduce unnecessary medical problems in the future. With my background in nutrition and sports massage, I hope to achieve this with every patient I encounter.”
