I went to the office of Dr. Rachel Simpson on 2-20-2024 for a pressure check. The internal pressures of my eyes are critical to the chronic glaucoma from which I suffer. 20 years ago, my pressures reached 18, and they caused the disease¿according to my doctors. In my checkups with Dr. Simpson, she makes sure that my pressures remain moderate and stable. In keeping with her objective, she recommended Trabeculoplasty, a laser massage of the inlet and outlet of the internal ducts to enhance the flow. She performed the procedure on my left ducts a month earlier, and on 2-8-2024 on my right. Generally my pressures have been averaging 12 in each eye. During my check-up, she reported pressures of 9.5 on the left and 12 on the right. Since it takes a month or two to reach full effect, the left eye was at an all-time low, and we anticipate that my right eye will follow that pattern. Dr. Simpson gets remarkable results! She is the best ophthalmologist I have ever known.
