After receiving graduate degrees in physical therapy and anthropology, Katey completed her residency in orthopaedic physical therapy in 2016 at the University of Utah. Her primary focus is rehabilitation for pediatric orthopedic injuries. She has collaborated with numerous clinicians in the University of Utah hospital system to create a comprehensive concussion management clinic, and with clinicians at the University Orthopaedic Center to pioneer the Climber's Clinic, which is devoted to evidence-based treatment and research of rock climbing-related injuries. Katey also specializes in treating pediatric pelvic floor and voiding dysfunction.
