Research Statement
Dr. Gawron’s primary research focus is leveraging biomedical informatics tools to improve reproductive planning and pregnancy outcomes for high-risk women. Additional interest are in understanding the effects of contraceptive methods on disease-specific symptoms in women with chronic health conditions and expansion of contraceptive services to vulnerable populations. She also assists in studies on contraceptive method development for NIH trials and industry efforts.
