  • Dr. Beck treats patients with advanced lung disease, specializing in pulmonary vascular disease, and cares for critically ill patients in the medical intensive care unit. She also cares for veterans in the VA Salt Lake City Healthcare System where she has interests in improving care processes for management of incidental lung nodules and lung cancer screening. Dr. Beck has a passion for teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and pulmonary fellows in the clinic, on the wards, and through simulation training and formal didactic sessions. Research interests include behavior of alveolar macrophages in smoking-related lung diseases.

    She is Great!! Compassionate -very smart & listened to to what I had to say-she was to the point & makes you feel everything is going to be OK -we disagreed on some things & im sure if I did everything she recommended my life would be better - a person that I blessed to have as a Doctor

    No Liz I am feeling better and I can say is I will miss this doctor greatly. She is one of your best. Well, I have been with the University Of Utah. I have had very good care. Also, my primary physician is very good and one of the best day alarm. Thank you so much to all of them.

    Emily Beck is the Best Dr I have ever seen. She really cares about you as a patient and does not hurry you to get to her next patien. She takes the time to determine your medical condition, then does testing to determine the best treatment option. She is Awsome!
