  • Dr. Jaramillo received her medical degree from Universidad de los Andés, completed her Pediatric residency at Texas Tech University and her Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition Fellowship at the University of Utah / Primary Children’s Hospital. She then completed an Advanced Pediatric Transplant Hepatology Fellowship at the University of Colorado / Children’s Hospital Colorado. She is board-certified in Pediatrics, Pediatric Gastroenterology and board eligible for Pediatric Transplant Hepatology.


    She is currently an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Utah and is in the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at Primary Children’s Hospital. Her primary clinical interests are in pediatric liver diseases including caring for children who need liver transplantation. She sees gastroenterology and hepatology patients at Eccles Primary Children’s Outpatient building and gastroenterology patients at PCH Outpatient Services at Layton.

    Dr. Jaramillo’s research interests include outcomes in biliary atresia and other pediatric liver diseases as well as outcomes and quality research in liver transplantation.
