Ryan Pelo, PT, DPT, NCS is the lead physical therapist within the Urgent Concussion Therapy program at the University of Utah Sugar House Health Center. He specializes in early concussion intervention and treatment. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Northwestern University in 2010, received his Neurologic Clinical Specialist designation in 2014, and a Certificate in Vestibular Rehabilitation in 2017. Before joining the University of Utah in 2015, Ryan was a therapist at what is now known as the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, formerly the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. Outside of clinical practice, Ryan is working towards his PhD in Rehabilitation Science with a focus on autonomic dysfunction post-concussion injury.
