My doctor was very good at speaking in terms I could understand and answered all my questions, at no time did I feel like she was rushed to move on to something else.I like my doctor, when I was in the office for an earlier appointment I picked up a few of her business cards and handed one or two to a very dear friend with my recommendation.

UofU Patient January 25, 2017

Provider seemed to have a different idea of the goal of the appointment than I did. Several times, I had to explain my #1 concern that I am urgently seeking an answer for. The provider digressed into details that didn't inform this concern, and several times mentioned other tests she could run but then stated "I don't know what I would do with that information." It felt like she was did not want to say she was unfamiliar with this topic so we talked in circles about alternative issues that she was adept at/informed about. I don't doubt her knowledge base, and she was certainly engaging to speak to, it just wasn't the best fit for my very specific issue. She dismissed an alarming test result as caused by increased hydration, and I had to remind her twice that my increase in hydration occurred months after this test was run. She was helpful and congenial in following-up after the appointment and I am grateful she did take my concerns to someone well-versed in that topic, and provide the referral I needed.
