  • Dr. Nabeel Chauhan is an assistant professor in the Department of Neurology at the University of Utah. His primary clinical focus includes staffing the 23-bed state of the art neurocritical care unit (NCCU), stroke, TeleStroke (Utah stroke network), teleneurology, and the inpatient and consult neurology services.

    He has participated in large multicenter trials for the University of Utah related to vascular neurology. He is involved with the teaching curriculum for medical students, residents, and fellows. He has also participated in the Transition to Internship clerkship and taught in multiple other medical school and nursing school courses.

    Dr. Chauhan attended medical school at the Lahore Medical and Dental College, Pakistan. He completed his internal medicine internship and adult neurology residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He then completed his vascular neurology fellowship and neurocritical care fellowship at the University of Utah.

    His other interests include playing guitar, playing soccer, running, hiking, and doing CrossFit. He also loves to travel and explore new places.
