  • Kendall Thurman, DO grew up in Texas. After high school, he served a two-year Church mission to southern Chile. He received an Associate's from Brigham Young University-Idaho and then a Bachelor's in Biology with a minor in Spanish from Idaho State University.

    He attended Des Moines University, graduating in 2006 with a Doctor of Osteopathy degree. He then did a General Surgery internship in Detroit, Michigan. In 2007, he transitioned to Emergency Medicine in the Oakwood Southshore Residency in Trenton and Dearborn, Michigan. He finished as chief resident and then worked in community and inner city hospitals in Richmond, Virginia. In 2015, he moved to a position at Salt Lake Regional Medical Center, and a year later was privileged to join the University of Utah as a Clinical Attending at the South Jordan Emergency Department.
