His capstone project at the Arizona College of Optometry involved analyzing baseball players’ vision and vision correction to compare this with their career success over six years.
Before receiving his Doctor of Optometry degree, Dr. Hulewsky earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with an emphasis in Neuroscience from Brigham Young University, Idaho. He speaks fluent Spanish.

The doctor is great. I would NEVER recommend anyone go to the University Healthcare System based on how awful your front-end staff is throughout the system. Half the time I can't even get healthcare from you because your staff is either so incompetent or just doesn't give a crap; I don't know which it is, but it's awful dealing with them.

Dr. Hulewsky was really great. He was very friendly and kind. He told me he was running a little behind and apologized. I asked him for his opinion on whether or not I'd be a good candidate for LASIK and he took the time to explain how LASIK works and offered to do an extra test to see if I'd be a good candidate. He was very knowledgeable and personable.
