Dr. Johnson received her medical degree from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, completed her Pediatric residency at Duke University, her Pediatric Hematology-Oncology fellowship at Oregon Health and Science University and her Pediatric Blood and Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapy fellowship at the University of Minnesota-MHealth Fairview Masonic Children’s Hospital. During her time in Oregon, she also completed her Masters of Public Health (MPH) at Oregon Health and Science University-Portland State University School of Public Health.

She is currently an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Utah and is in the division of Hematology, Oncology, and Bone Marrow Transplant at Primary Children’s Medical Center. Dr. Johnson’s primary clinical interests include blood and marrow transplantation and cellular therapies for leukemia and lymphoma. She is also interested in global oncology. Her research interests include utilizing mobile health and technology to support patients and caregivers as well as chronic graft-versus-host disease.
