Dr. Gutierrez is from Topanga, California. He completed his undergraduate degree close to home at the University of California, Los Angeles. He took a jump to the Midwest where he completed his medical degree at Western Michigan School of Medicine. His medical interests include sports medicine, lifestyle medicine, wilderness medicine, and shared decision making. Outside of medicine he enjoys sports, traveling, the outdoors, and time with family and friends. He chose the University of Utah because of the nurturing environment, sensational faculty, and unique opportunities in all facets of family medicine.
