Emily Woods, MD is currently a non-operative Sports Medicine Fellow at the University of Utah. She completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN in 2020 and stayed on as an attending physician in the Emergency Department for the next two years. Her undergraduate and medical degrees are both from the University of North Dakota, where she is originally from. Her clinical interests include ultrasound procedures, acute musculoskeletal injuries, emergency medicine resident sports and MSK education, women in sports, extreme sports, and providing sideline sports coverage. She enjoys hiking, running, cooking, her dogs and dog rescue, as well as spending time with her partner and family.
