Garry R. Wellisch, APRN, FNP-C, MSN, RN, BSN

We are pleased to have Mr. Wellisch as a part of the Department of Pediatrics. He joins the team with a very diverse background. He obtained his Masters of Science in Nursing with a focus on Family Nurse Practitioner from Westminster College, since that time he has worked in the settings of Urgent Care, the Utah Disaster Management Team, as well as the Utah Air National Guard Disaster Response Team. Prior to this Mr. Wellisch worked in multiple disciplines such as a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Department; as a Critical Care Flight Nurse with the Air Force; at Primary Children's Hospital as an RN in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, and as Pediatric Diabetes Educator.

Mr. Wellisch is an active member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the Utah Nurse Practitioner Association, the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, and the Golden Key Honor Society. Mr. Wellisch is Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner- Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and is a great asset to the department.
