I've never been treated with so much kindness and respect by a doctor. I almost cried when I left. My experience at the doctors has always been so negative I dread going, but I felt heard for the first time in a very very long time. It felt like she genuinely cared and that's rare in my experience. Dr. Alden is truly someone special.

I am a bit confused why it is taking so long to get the report about my toe. I came in to be seen for a possible broken toe. Xray' were done, but I haven't heard from the Dr about the results for at least 2 days. If this is normal practice to not get instructions for 3 days (as was told to me by the assistant), that is a long wait when deciding what to do with an urgent matter. I realize that Doctors are busy, but to leave with the understanding that once the x-rays were received and the reading of them finished, I would be notified. I was there waiting for over 1 hr to hear about the x-rays being received, which was done and the doctor told me they could not see anything on the Xray, but they were waiting for the radiologists report.. I could wait but they didn't know when that would be. I am just finding it strange that once the report was sent, I thought I would hear within 24 hours at most. It is a bit confusing to me.
Dr. Alden was awesome. She was knowledgeable, attentive to my needs and questions, and gave me recommendations tailored to my situation. Will definitely come back to keep seeing her!
