  • J. Hunter Strohmeyer, MD, Assistant Professor (Clinical), earned his medical degree at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He completed his general Psychiatry residency as well as his Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at the University of Utah, and is board certified in Adult Psychiatry and board-eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Strohmeyer's clinical interests are broad and include mood and anxiety disorders in children, adolescents, and adults. His academic interests include resident education and system-based approaches to reducing provider burnout. Dr. Strohmeyer is excited to continue his career in Utah as a member of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry outpatient team at the University of Utah's Huntsman Mental Health Institute.
