    Jonathan Harrison, M.D. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine and Division of Cardiovascular Medicine. He received his medical degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine, graduating with Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) honors. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of California, San Diego. He served as Chief Medical Resident at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego. He subsequently completed his Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology fellowships at the University of Utah.

    Dr. Harrison has a wide clinical practice in the care of heart disease, with special interest in invasive hemodynamics, intracoronary diagnostic, and interventional cardiac procedures; as well as point of care ultrasound to improve bedside cardiac care. In addition to caring for patients, he is also involved in medical education of medical students, residents, and fellows at both the University of Utah Hospital and the VA Medical Center in Salt Lake City. Dr. Harrison is actively involved in clinical research aimed at implementing innovating practices while maintaining the highest level of patient care.
