Dr. Gallagher is from Richmond, Virginia. He completed his undergraduate degree at Davidson College and his medical degree at Virginia Commonwealth University. His medical interests include lifestyle medicine, population health and community outreach, spiritual care, and healthcare advocacy. He enjoys hiking, rock climbing, reading nonfiction, learning to cook new recipes, and officiating friends’ weddings. He chose the University of Utah because of its robust training opportunities in both academic and community settings, the warm and supportive community, and the unmatched proximity to the great outdoors.
