  • Joshua Feriante, DO, MBA, Assistant Professor (Clinical), graduated from Lincoln Memorial University DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then completed his residency in General Psychiatry at UMass Chan Medical School and fellowship training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of California San Diego and Forensic Psychiatry at the University of California Davis Health. He specializes in clinical and forensic evaluations for a wide range of psychiatric conditions including mood disorders, anxiety, psychosis, personality disorders, and trauma-related disorders, such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Dr. Feriante provides adult inpatient care at the Huntsman Mental Health Institute (HMHI) and pediatric crisis evaluations at Primary Children’s Taylorsville crisis center. He serves as the Associate Program Director of the University of Utah Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship Program established in 2025.
