  • Dr. June Chavez has experience in general neurosurgical disorders. She also specializes in spine surgery, including adult degenerative spine disorders, traumatic spine injuries, and spine tumors.

    Dr. Chavez obtained her undergraduate degree in biology at Columbia University in New York City. She subsequently completed her medical degree and neurosurgical residency at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. She then obtained a Master of Science in Public Health and completed a complex spine fellowship in the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Utah. In her spare time, Dr. Chavez enjoys running and watching baseball with her husband.
