Katie Brooks is a Certified Physician Assistant at the University of Utah Orthopaedic Center with the Foot and Ankle team. Katie’s Clinical interests include traumatic injuries to the foot and ankle, non-operative fractures, arthritis conditions, plantar fasciitis, tendonitis, sports injuries to the foot and ankle, foot and ankle reconstruction, and providing thorough patient education regarding foot and ankle conditions.

Katie attended the University of Utah, completing her undergraduate degree in Athletic Training. She then went on to attend graduate school at the University of Alabama where she worked in the athletic department as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer while earning her Master of Arts degree in Health Studies. Upon graduation, Katie worked as an Athletic trainer at Duke University and then at the University of Utah Orthopaedic center in both the clinic and operating room. Katie attended Physician Assistant school and graduated in 2022 form the University of Utah Physician Assistant Program with a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies. For 3 years following PA school, Katie worked in Plastic Surgery at Intermountain Health with a focus in reconstruction and traumatic injuries.
