I will never be able to express my appreciation to Nancy and Perlita for listening to me when I first called and for just fighting on my behalf and to Dr. Baker for agreeing to fit me in on very short notice because I happened to be in Salt Lake getting my mother heart care. Dr. Baker and Jacee made me feel like I had no worries. No matter what they would take care of me. Dr. Baker covering all the bases with blood work and a clearer MRI to be sure what he suspected could be backed up is so appreciated. And even the assistant that made sure we were ready for the video call was so calm and confident that I knew no matter what all would be okay. There is a saying-people dont care how much you know until they know how much you care. A rare combination to find a team of people that care and have the necessary knowledge in this 2023 world. We felt Dr. Baker was professional and knowledgeable, as well as caring. He was straight forward and direct while still being aware and understanding of the stress and feelings of uncertainty we were having with my diagnosis. He and the team worked together well to form a viable plan of treatment.
I didn't totally understand why I needed chemo vs having surgery first. My primary MD explained it to me. I'm now comfortable with the plan
