Matthew W. Wise, DO

Matthew Wise, DO is currently a Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellow at the University of Utah. Dr. Wise attended the University of Dallas for his undergraduate degree where he competed on the men's soccer team. He went to medical school at the University of North Texas Health Science Center and completed residency in Family Medicine at the University of Washington, during which he received numerous recognitions including AMSSM's Resident Scholarship Award and induction into AOA. Dr. Wise's clinical and research interests include management of acute injuries, medical care of athletes and active people, and advanced ultrasound-guided procedures including but not limited to tenotomy and peripheral nerve hydrodissection. Outside of work, he enjoys podcasts, pickling, and trying new hikes with his dog.
