Dr. Allen was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas. She completed her undergrad and medical school at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Her medical interests are preventative medicine, adolescent medicine, obstetrics, and LGBT+ healthcare. She enjoys knitting and crochet, hiking with her family, and taking care of her cactus collection. She chose the University of Utah because of the program’s dedication to resident wellness, community involvement, and opportunities for obstetric and rural training.
