Dr. Natalie Kukulka earned her medical degree from the University of Missouri School of Medicine in Columbia, Missouri. She completed her residency in Child Neurology at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, DC, where she received comprehensive training in the care of infants, children, and adolescents with complex neurologic conditions. She then pursued advanced subspecialty fellowship training in Neuromuscular Medicine at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, New York. During her fellowship, she gained extensive experience in the evaluation and treatment of a wide range of neuromuscular disorders, including peripheral neuropathies, myopathies, motor neuron diseases, and disorders of the neuromuscular junction.

Dr. Kukulka currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics in the Division of Pediatric Neurology. She specializes in the diagnosis and management of pediatric neuromuscular disorders and is skilled in performing and interpreting electrodiagnostic studies, including nerve conduction studies (NCS) and electromyography (EMG). Her research interests include the use of neuromuscular ultrasound as a complementary diagnostic tool to enhance the evaluation of a broad spectrum of neuromuscular conditions and improve patient care. Through her clinical work and teaching, Dr. Kukulka is committed to improving the lives of children affected by neuromuscular disorders and to training the next generation of pediatric neurologists.
