Dr. Smith grew up in South Carolina in a town called Clover, otherwise known as the town with love in the middle. He is the youngest of four boys, with one being a twin brother. One could say there was never a dull moment. After high school, he attended the College of Charleston where he studied Biology and Psychology. Following, he spent a gap year in London helping run a study abroad program before starting medical school in South Carolina.
